NEXT MPRO MEETING
The orchestra’s next meeting will be held on Monday, November 18th at 7pm.
CONDUCTOR’S CORNER
Dear members of the Mid-Peninsula Recorder Orchestra,
Listed below is information regarding the next three meetings, dress rehearsal and performance that will conclude the first half of MPRO’s 2024-2025 season. There will be seating charts for the dress rehearsal on December 13 and concert on December 14. Please note that sopranino, great bass and contrabass recorders as well as krummhorns, bassoons and keyboard will be needed for the November 18 meeting, December 13 dress rehearsal and December 14 concert, sopranino, great bass and contrabass recorders for the meeting on December 2 and great bass recorders as well as krummhorns for the meeting on December 9. The dress rehearsal on December 13 will take place at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1106 Alameda de las Pulgas in San Carlos at 7:00 P.M., and the holiday concert will be at Trinity Presbyterian Church on Saturday, December 14, at 2:00 P.M. As in the past, small ensembles are encouraged to appear in the holiday concert. Those groups that intend to perform at the holiday concert on December 14 are asked to send me the following information by December 2: the title(s) of the music to be performed, the name(s) of the composer(s), the name of the ensemble (if any) and the names of the ensemble's members.
