NEXT MPRO MEETING

The orchestra’s next meeting will be held on Monday April 21st at 7:00pm.

Also note the following changes to the rest of this season. The new rehearsal and concert schedule is:

April 21st - rehearsal

May 19th - rehearsal

June 23rd - rehearsal

June 27th - dress rehearsal

June 28th - concert

 

CONDUCTOR’S CORNER

Dear members of the Mid-Peninsula Recorder Orchestra,

 

Listed below is the music for the orchestra’s next meeting on April 21. Please note that great bass and contrabass recorders as well as bassoon and keyboard will be needed at this meeting. Also, please be aware that the MPRO meeting previously scheduled for April 7 has been cancelled. Finally, the orchestra’s spring concert has been scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 28, at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center in Redwood City. As in the past, small ensembles are encouraged to appear in the spring concert. Those groups that intend to perform in the spring concert on June 28 are asked to send me the following information at their earliest convenience but no later than June 13: the title(s) of the music to be performed, the name(s) of the composer(s), the name of the ensemble (if any) and the names of the ensemble’s members.
