            Listed below is the music for the next two meetings of the orchestra. Please note that sopranino recorder as well as bassoon will be needed at both meetings and krummhorns will be needed on November 3.

COMING EVENTS AND ONLINE RESOURCES

Tish Berlin is conducting a recorder workshop on Monday, October 13th from 10:00am to 4:00pm at 2005 Berryman Street, Berkeley. The theme is music by women composers from Medieval times through modern time. There are quite a few concerts of early music occurring October for those interested. Here are a couple of them. A full list along with details of each event can be found on the SFEMS website  < https://www.sfems.org/calendar-of-early-music >.

Oct. 10th, 11th, and 12th, Tasto Solo will be performing 13th-century French music with a combination of voice, portative organ, vielle, and percussion.

Oct. 17th, Barefood Chamber Concerts presents “Fair is the Rose: English and Italian Songs for voice and viols. Pieces will include those by William Byrd, Orlando Gibbons, and others. For more information see < https://www.sfems.org/calendar-of-early-music >.

Oct. 19, there will be “Vivaldi! Magnificat, Gloria, and Dixit Dominus” performed in San Francisco. Information can be found at < https://www.sfems.org/calendar-of-early-music >.
