COMING EVENTS AND
ONLINE RESOURCES
Tish Berlin is conducting a recorder
workshop on Monday, October 13th from 10:00am to 4:00pm at 2005 Berryman
Street, Berkeley. The theme is music by women composers from Medieval times

There are quite a few concerts of early music occurring October for those interested. Here are a couple of

Oct. 10th, 11th, and 12th, Tasto Solo will be
performing 13th-century French music with a combination of voice, portative
organ, vielle, and percussion.
Oct. 17th, Barefood
Chamber Concerts presents “Fair is the Rose: English and Italian Songs for
voice and viols. Pieces will include those by William Byrd, Orlando Gibbons,

Oct. 19, there will be “Vivaldi! Magnificat,
Gloria, and Dixit Dominus” performed in San Francisco. Information can be found
