COMING EVENTS AND ONLINE RESOURCES

Tish Berlin is conducting a recorder workshop on Monday, October 13th from 10:00am to 4:00pm at 2005 Berryman Street, Berkeley. The theme is music by women composers from Medieval times through modern time. There are quite a few concerts of early music occurring October for those interested. Here are a couple of them. A full list along with details of each event can be found on the SFEMS website  < https://www.sfems.org/calendar-of-early-music >.

Oct. 10th, 11th, and 12th, Tasto Solo will be performing 13th-century French music with a combination of voice, portative organ, vielle, and percussion.

Oct. 17th, Barefood Chamber Concerts presents “Fair is the Rose: English and Italian Songs for voice and viols. Pieces will include those by William Byrd, Orlando Gibbons, and others. For more information see < https://www.sfems.org/calendar-of-early-music >.
